Ds Lite (Games not reading)

Indicators of Game Reading Fault:

·         When a game cartridge is inserted into the console it does not load the game

·         Games load intermittently

·         Games crash or freeze during gameplay

·         On examination of the game cartridge slot (where games are inserted), there may be bent or snapped pins

Causes:

·         Putting the game cartridges in the wrong way around, causing the pins to bend of their original position

·         Inserting objects other than game cartridges into the cartridge slot

Repair Procedure:

·         Replace the delicate pins in the cartridge slot with new pins

·         Comprehensive testing of console
